Your invitation to participate
On behalf of the BRANZ HCF BQIP Advisory Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the pre-ANZBA ASM workshop on Monday October 15th 2018.
The BRANZ HCF BQIP Advisory Committee are currently undertaking a multi-centre project to quantify variation in clinical practice across all Australian and New Zealand burn units. This project aims to establish if and how variation affects patient outcomes. Understanding the effects of variation in practice can inform the development of best practice guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives that can potentially improve burn care and patient outcomes in our region. This important piece of work is the first step in developing ways to benchmark processes and outcomes across our burn units, and sets the standard of care for the future.
Please join us at the ANZBA ASM pre-conference workshop where we will present our preliminary findings. We hope for active audience participation in the discussion of the findings and their implications, as well as feedback on the proposed next stages of the project, including the future binational BQIP framework.
This world-first initiative has relevance to all parties affiliated with Australian and New Zealand burn units that strive to optimise the care and outcomes of those injured by burns.
We hope that you can join us at this free event. Afternoon refreshments will be provided.
The workshop will also be available as a webinar, please register if you wish to join the live stream. The webinar login details will be sent to those who have registered closer to the date.
For any enquiries regarding the workshop please contact the BRANZ team via email firstname.lastname@example.org
